Pianist Jutta Ernst studied in Würzburg with Kirsti Hjort and Arne Torger. After graduating as a concert musician with distinction under Christoph Lieske in Winterthur she went to Bernd Glemser in Saarbrücken, where she obtained her soloist’s diploma.
Her CD of piano and chamber music works by Paul Hindemith, released by TACET in 1997, was given outstanding reviews in the music press.
As a chamber music partner to Gustav Rivinius, Ann-Kathrin Naidu, Martin Dobner, Andreas Rothkopf and members of the Linos Ensemble she has taken part in numerous concerts and radio recordings.
She has been lecturing at the College of Music in Saarbrücken since May 2000, and also teaches at the state-run school of music.
